The CEPT University, originally known as the centre for environmental planning and technologies, conducts an admission exam to select candidates for enrollment in its programs. There are five faculties at CEPT University, and to enroll in any of their programs, you must pass an entrance exam.
The common entrance test, or CET, is a standardized process for choosing candidates most deserving of admission to universities for higher education in professional courses. Students must pass tests to be admitted to engineering, medicine, dentistry, architecture, and management programs.

Eligibility Criteria for CET Entrance Exam:
- Applicants must be at minimum 17 years old.
- Should be a citizen of India.
- Should have finished the 10+2 course in high school or a comparable educational institution.
- English, mathematics, physics, chemistry, and biology should have been the main topics covered on the qualifying exam.
- The minimum qualifying test score for students in the general category is 50%, while the minimum score for students in the SC/ST or OBC categories is 40%.
Eligibility Criteria for CEPT Entrance Exam:
- A Bachelor’s degree in architecture or a degree equivalent recognized by the Council of Architecture is required for applicants to the architectural design program, with a minimum overall score of 55% for candidates in the general category and 50% for those in the reserved category.
- A minimum cumulative score of 50% is required for applicants from restricted groups, and a minimum cumulative score of 55% is required for general candidates. A bachelor of architecture degree approved by the council of architecture is also a requirement for applicants.
- To be eligible for the master of landscape architecture program, applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree in architecture or interior design from a recognized university or institution. The requirement that graduates have a cumulative GPA of at least 55% should be emphasized.
